20 weeks
Half way!
I had the "big" ultrasound (anatomy scan) this morning to and everything looked great! Baby was very active and even gave the technician a thumbs up :) We have decided to be team green and not find out if we are having a boy or girl. We found out with both of the girls and since this is our last pregnancy we thought it would be fun to experience the surprise at delivery. I'm not going to lie, it's driving me a little crazy not knowing since I'm a planner... but I know everything will be just fine :) Picking names is the hardest part and coming up with two names that we both love is so hard! We don't have any picked yet and won't share them anyways! Ashlyn has been coming up with some great ones. She also thinks that the gender is determined by what you name the baby.
Girl name = girl. Boy names = boy... if only it was that easy!

Kaelyn's big girl bed
3.27.13
We finally put the toddler rail on Kaelyn's crib. She will be moving into her big girl room across the hall in a few short months. She was so excited to help change it over. Mommy on the other hand was a little nervous about how well she would sleep once she could get out of her bed. She is a rock star sleeper and we didn't want that to change... and so far it hasn't!!! She hasn't even gotten out of her bed once or woken up early from nap or overnight. The first night she slept in until 7:45am! She will sit up in bed and call for me to come get her and then she'll jump into my arms.... then she usually says that she slept good :) Mommy is happy to say that the transition has been a complete success!

Easter Egg Hunt!
Every year we go to the Jaycee's Easter egg hunt in St Peter. There is always a big turn out and it's over in a couple minutes so you can't be late! Both girls did really good! They each had a bucket of treats to take home.
This was Kaelyn's first year and she was excited!
She got lots of candy and did really good!

Pinterest Project
3.2.13
We decided to do a project from Pinterest...
Fill balloons with water and add food coloring.
Once frozen, cut the balloons off. They will look like giant marbles.
It was pretty easy, next year we'll have to try it earlier
so we can enjoy them all winter long!

New wheels
We bought Ashlyn a 50cc 4-wheeler off of Craigslist Sunday. She was getting too big for her electric one and this one is a perfect fit! She loves that it goes faster and doesn't have to be charged up... it's gas powered! Kaelyn officially gets the electric one and I'm sure it won't take her long to figure out how to steer it this summer, last summer that was her only problem :)
Now we just need to get a helmet!

Daddy showing her all of the new controls.. gas, break and horn.

For the first minute it was a lot of gas, break, gas, break...
but then she got the hang of it and was off!

Acrobats
2.21.2013
The girls have really been into putting on an acrobat show for us. They get their leotards on and practice in the basement. Then they have us sit in the living room and put on the show. It's really cute and they can do lots of tricks. There is singing, dancing, hula-hooping, jumping and even a magic show.
Pretty impressive for a 4 and a 2 year old :)
