Happy Thanksgiving
Since we're not officially celebrating Thanksgiving until Friday night, I thought that these Nutter Butter Turkeys I saw on Pinterest would be a fun little project to do with the girls. It turned out to be a little more work than I thought.... and took way more patience than the girls had, so they just helped eat the extra candy and cookies (no complaints from them!) while I assembled the rafter (correct name for a group of turkeys - thanks Google!).
Happy Thanksgiving!
Swinging November 19th
Hard to believe how nice it has been outside.
We've been trying to take full advantage of the nice weather while it lasts!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kaelyn!
Our sweet little Kaelyn is two today! We celebrated her birthday this past Sunday with a Minnie Mouse birthday party. She LOVED it! It was a beautiful day, the kids even played outside on the swing set... that probably won't happen very often in November!
Thank you to all of her grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins
for helping celebrate her special day :)

Hot Tub
Daddy took the girls in the hot tub Saturday night.
They thought it was SO cool out in the dark. Why they really like it is because it's like a big toasty swimming pool. Kaelyn loves to just float around and swim with her "armies" on, Ashlyn thinks she's pretty cool because she can touch the bottom in the "deep" part.

Roller Skates
Ashlyn was so excited to learn how to roller skate on her new princess roller skate that she got for her, ahem.... 2nd birthday.... That's right, they've been waiting patiently in the closet for the past 2.5 years until mommy thought she would be able to handle them. She does awesome on the carpet, but hard floors are still tricky :)

Halloween 2012
Halloween started out this year with our annual trip to the Nicollet ECFE Halloween party. So many fun things for little kids to do, they had a blast.
Ashlyn was Spider Girl!
If you asked her what she was she would say it in her loud superhero voice! Cute.

Kaelyn was Rock Star Girl
It fit her spunky personality perfectly.
She would dance and wiggle a lot when she had her costume on. Also very cute!

I think that the cookie decorating station was the favorite of all kids.
Kaelyn wasn't interested in decorating, she wanted a taste!
