Corn Days Parade

We went to the Corn Days parade in Sleepy Eye Saturday night and sat with some of the Kral cousins. Here are the kids waiting for the parade to start.

Backpack

She's got a thing for Dora lately.
The baby carrier is the closest thing we have to a backpack her size.

Twins game

We went to the Twins game on July 30th and sat in the Legends Club.
It was really nice. We're defiantly going back again!

House Update!

Our remodel/addition project officially got underway this week!  We are adding a new living room on to the north side of the house and making a formal entry way in the front. We are also going to add some closet space to our master bedroom. It's also time to get new windows shingles and siding since they are 30 years old and have worn out... GOODBYE yellow siding!!!  I can't wait for it all to be done... hopefully the inside will be complete before baby gets here :)  I'll keep you updated!

Ashlyn said her baby needed a snack the other day so I asked her what her baby wanted and she said Cheerios. So I gave her a bowl to share with her baby. She said baby liked it :)

We started getting new pigs yesterday and Ashlyn wanted to go see them.

She carried her boots out to the barn.

She liked running down the long alleyway.

She was pretty excited to touch one on the nose.

Then she wanted to explore all the empty pens.... I think she went in 6 of them on the way out
and they are all the exactly the same but she just had to see what was in each one.

Gauge

Sometimes it seems like our dog Gauge doesn't get his picture taken as much as he used to since Ashlyn was born. He turned 7 years old this July and is still as sweet as ever :)

Lake Winnie family vacation

Joe and I took Ashlyn on a little family vacation to Lake Winnibigosh last week. We left Friday afternoon and came home Tuesday morning.  It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation and we're looking forward to going again next year.  Here are just a few pictures from out trip :)

There were a lot of chipmunks that were very friendly. 

She enjoyed feeding them peanuts and trying to touch them.
