April 18th was Joe's first morning out turkey hunting this year and he shot a nice one! The girls were so excited to go outside and check it out. They both thought it was pretty cool. The feathers were so soft and Ashlyn really liked its "rainbow head". Joe smoked some of the meat and the girls really like it. Ashlyn calls it beef turkey... known to most of you as, turkey jerky ;) Next year she said she wants to take her pink gun and go hunting with daddy.

Roasting Marshmallows
(March 19)
Ashlyn wanted dad to make a camp fire and roast marshmallows. Ashlyn likes to "roast" her marshmallow for about 2 seconds just so it warms it up a bit and Kaelyn like them strait out of the bag. I on the other hand love a nice crispy, totally burnt one. Yum!
Kaelyn also likes to push around the snow shovel on the patio :)

Florida - Last One!
I finally got smart and put the pictures in a collage (like my SIL Christy!) so I don't have to have so many posts. There were just too many good pictures that I wanted to post :) We had a great time in Florida and want to give a big thank you to Grandma & Grandpa Loula for taking us!
We spent one day at Universal Studios.
The Dr. Seuss area was a hit with the kids. Ashlyn got to meet a lot of the characters.
By Thursday we need a break from the parks so Tim, Joe and I golfed after lunch. Then Joe and I took Ashlyn down by the beach so she could build sand castles.
Friday morning the Sandhill Cranes stopped by to visit us.
Ashlyn fed them a breakfast of bread just outside our porch.
Friday temps got up to 90 degrees so Joe and I took Ashlyn to the pool while everyone else went to Sea World. Ashlyn was in heaven! We swam from 10am until 6pm. She only took two breaks to eat and we still had to drag her out of the pool when we left. She is such a fish!
She even mastered the water slide all by herself
On our last day we went to Sea World. This was by far Ashlyn's favorite place. The dolphin and Shamu shows were amazing. There were so many animals and fish to see.
The best part was that the ride lines were fairly short (1/2 hour or less).
I think we'd skip Disney and go to Sea World any day.

Disney - Part 2
Knucks with grandpa before we went to Disney World for the day.
Cinderella
Belle
Sleeping Beauty
Dad waited in line for hours (while we checked out other rides) so Ashlyn could meet Rapunzel - her Favorite princess!
Rapunzel asked Ashlyn if she took that dress from her closet.
Ashlyn just smiled and said no!
Pooh's house
We stayed for part of the parade. It had been a long day and we didn't want to fight the crowd on the way home.
