Cocklebur

Ashlyn wanted to watch dad work this afternoon back by the grove. She liked walking around and finding the cocklebur's that are everywhere. She had a few stuck to her pants and when I told her what it was she kept saying, "cocklebur?" it was really cute :)

Surprise for Dad

Ashlyn thought that daddy needs his wrenches rearranged...

First: Take them all off and set them on the floor

Next: Put them back in a funny order

All done! Hope Dad likes it!

Park 3.26.10

I took Ashlyn to the park Friday and boy, was it windy! She didn't seem to mind it at all. She LOVES the park :)

My Little Pony had to come with and play too!

Clean Up!

Ashlyn can't get enough of running water. She wants to wash her hand after every meal and she HAS to have a dab of soap to rub between her little paws. It's pretty cute! Then she usually wants to brush her teeth with her BIG tooth brush apparently her little Elmo brush isn't good enough, she wants to be just like mommy and daddy.

Park 3.22.10

We went to the park last Monday and it was beatuiful out! Ashlyn is getting to be such a "big girl" she can climb the steps and go down most of the slides all by herself  (of course I make sure she doesn't fall). She thinks it so fun.

Look mom, dirt and an old mushy leaf....

Big Girl Potty

Ashlyn is officially potty training! Last night she went twice at Grandma Loula's while we were visiting and this morning she's gone twice! This is so exciting! Maybe she'll be out of diapers by her birthday :)))

New Girlfriend

Ashlyn got to hold her new little girlfriend Brooke Grommersch last week. She has lots of babies around the house that she tends to and is always excited to see real one. However, she doesn't like how real babies cry!

Hawaii Vacation Pics

Joe and I went on a wonderful trip to Hawaii Feb 17th - 24th. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa , Waikiki Beach, Oahu. (Ashlyn got to split the week at each of her grandparents so she had a vacation too!) It took us a few days to get used to the time change (4hr) but it went better than the last time we were there so that was nice. Downtown Waikiki was only a few blocks away and we walked there most days to either shop or eat. We spent a lot of time by the pool or the beach each day. We went on a bus tour to Pearl Harbor and saw the USS Arizona Battleship. On our last full day we rented a car and drove to the North Shore. We stopped at a couple beaches, ate at a shrimp truck and toured the Dole Plantation. Overall we had a nice relaxing week. I miss the warm weather but it's good to be home!
